I always knew Richards had pace and power but faster than Clichy and Aguero, I'm not having that.

As for Mario, I'm as clueless as the OP. Perhaps more so if Richards really is the fastest player in our team. I really don't think so, though.

Since he was a CB. So, a week or two, haha, no seriously, I can be a bit of a dopey bastard but I really never considered just how fast he is. Rapid, I know. He used to make up for some of his weaknesses by using his pace and putting in a great slide tackle.

Still, still, still. He'd beat Aguero in a race? I guess I just can't see it. I'm blind to differentiating footballers' pace.

Aguero is only fast for the first few yards. In other words, he's explosive. But after those few yards, his top speed you could say isn't that great.

Ribery is faster than Aguero and Ribery couldn't beat Micah for pace.

I'd just like to say, over 5-10 yards Aguero is one of the most ridiculously fast players I've ever seen. Whoever said otherwise clearly doesn't pay attention as that's how he gets past most of his men. He doesn't do stepovers he just knocks it ahead or to the side and hammers it past people.

Examples: when he drifted effortlessly past Dawson in the 5-1 at Spurs and when he closed down Hennessey v Wolves and caught him completely on the hop.

he does get subbed around the 70 minute mark which gives him a big advantage.

if he had a shower i doubt he would make it there first as carragher is a lot faster than he looks!
