Could he force his way into our side week in week out?
Could he establish himself as our number 9?
Could he have what it takes to become a world class player?

Currently discussing just this in our youngest ever hat trick scorer thread ;-)

I don't really want to put expectations on how good he can be, just enjoy he ride.

But his all round game is simply incredible. Physically he's strong, fast and 6ft.

He played a lot of his youth football as a 10 so his passing and vision is incredible - the ball when he put Navas through on goal today was great.

And most importantly he has the incredibly cool head and fast reactions.

His goal today, and the Crystal Palace goal - he had no right to score those! There were defenders and the goalkeeper closer to the ball but he's so fast and anticipates it, and picks up the goal.

And he's only 19. Absolutely incredible really.

Not bad then

The sky's the limit but boy he needs to work hard and he needs a Lot of luck too. Now chill out and stop pretending he's the next messiah like rags with likes of Janusaj etc

His attitude seems good. Always does a "thank you God" celebration, his interviews are almost a joke how he just says he needs to work hard, and I actually really liked that he insisted on taking the penalty today. Obviously he was the designated penalty taker, and he stuck to his gun seven when the senior player tried to pinch it off him.

I don't think he needs luck personally. He needs to avoid injuries, but I would not call that particularly good luck, it's more bad luck if you fall victim to them.

Yeah that was an odd moment, good job he score it after all that

One goal every 76 minutes -and- an assist or a goal every 56 minutes.
If you're good enough, you're old enough.

Luck with injuries was part of what I meant where he needs luck. That, and trust of the manager. You never know how a new bloke will treat you.

He does seem to have his feet in the ground...BUT basically all young pros are coached what to say in interviews etc so don't believe all they say

I'm taking that.
To be fair, the lads surprised me. I must admit I thought some of you were getting a bit carried away, but he's done fantastic when he's been given the chance. Don't mind being wrong when it means we've got a much better player than I thought.
