They won't remember Samaras' stunning volley v West Ham. They won't remember him winning the game v Sunderland, they won't remember him coming on at HT and winning the game against Everton with our last 2 home goals that season.

The classic Samaras weaknesses were in evidence last night, though, all the same. There IS a decent player in there, somewhere, but no-one will be able to get it out now. Always took one or two touches too many, and never released the ball quickly enough, and there was plenty of that last night. If that trait could've been eradicated, he may have realised his potential.
