How is everyone coping?

Yoga has saved my back and knees it really has. Loads of free stuff online too. Used to take the piss out of it, now I find it as necessary as lifting weight.

How am I coping? Day at a time. Find the positive in everything no mater how small.
I’d rather be wheelchair bound for the rest of my life than do 1 second of yoga.

;-)

Glad to hear you’re doing ok though mate.

Ha!
I’m assuming you’re being a tad facetious but ignoring the ‘woo’ stuff, yoga can really help physically & mentally.
Feck...the SAS now do it.

We all need to try and support each other on here at the moment as blues. This winter has been brutal probably the toughest time many of us have known. Not easy for any of us.

hang on in there blues - one day we will all be at David Silvas testimonial!

This time its a struggle - shit weather 2 down with the old 'vids and me waiting on a test result plus I am waiting to hear if I retain or lose my job next week but I refuse to let it beat me for now - I keep telling myself we will al; be ok and I will get some work somehow and the blues will win another title. You have to stay positive doncha? I know its glib but when I hear all the TV and radio shows banging on about mental health I always think the best way to ensure it happens is to keep banging on about it so off it bloody goes - no negative vibes man to quote Oddball.

How are you doing @worsleyweb?

I've spent a lot of time reading Bluemoon before ever posting and I've always enjoyed your positivity.

However I also sense not seeing your dad is hitting you harder than you are letting on and therefore I wish you all the best and hope you truly are as positive as you come across.

We in the UK have a track record of starting wars slowly be we always win in the end!

I tell you what I’m glad we have City, there’s nowt new on tv really I think I’ve watched everything and I don’t really get excited for the build up but once we kick off I’m in the zone, wife walked past me when Jesus scored the other night and I screamed in her ear! I’m 51 for fucks sake but in all this shit it’s a saving grace.

Negatives - Really pissed off with work and WFH (internal politics). I actually miss interaction with colleagues etc and I feel a bit isolated. I'm drinking more than I normally would to feel better and put me in a better mood.
Missing my pals and family, getting sick of the groundhog day routine.

Positives - I consider myself VERY lucky to be working and have been unharmed by the pandemic. I'm running most days and have lost weight. Managed to save a bit of money. There's a lot of sport on TV and I've got back in to reading.

Mostly ignore the news.

Trying to stick to a routine. Use dumbbells every day for about a 45 minute workout ( I do manual work so need to keep fit'ish ! ). Plus do excuses for my back and core, mostly yoga type exercise. Than a daily walk.

After that drink tea and watch old Minder , Avengers etc.

Prepare tea, wash up and do house work but not up to the standard of Mrs Gordon ;)

As I am 60 and shielding I have just been asked if I would like the jab so now waiting for time and date :)

yes i am genuinely good mate, missing my old man like you say but he has had the jab so that is taking some of the worry away. I am going to try and give a great summer in just a few weeks. i am lucky i am working every day so that takes mind off things and my kids are all good. We will get there.
