How long have you genuinely supported our city

For as long as i can remember.
Born 63, 1st kit Black and scarlet stripes.
I'm guessing i was 7/8 1969/70.
My real love affair started in 1975 when i
was allowed to go from langley to Maine Rd on my own.
Never looked back.
CTID

All my life.

Never had the luxury of choosing a team although following my first game at City a rag relative offered to take me to old trafford the following week. I wasn't interested and I've not looked back since.

born 59 .. been going as long as i can remember .. mam n dad (sadley missed) took me all over the place

Started getting interested in City in 65, and went to my first game in April 1967.

Used to go with my dad a few times a season to Maine Rd, but then really turned into a regular matchgoer in 1971.

My dad and grandad were blues, but they never pressured me at all. It must be in the genes.

39 Years of age and whilst my first love is Rangers as I'm from north of the border, I've always been City, remember having the 100th FA Cup final shirt in 1981 when I was 10, pity thats still our last final, but the FA Cup beckons hopefully.

Rangers and City!

Born 57. Supported City from late 60s. Lived about 8 miles away from Maine Road. I could be classed as a glory hunter at the time. City were winning things then, but so were those unmentionables from down the road. So I had a choice. I was taken to both Maine Road and legoland.

I remember hoping Benfica would beat them in the European final and have never given them the time of day since even when people said you should support them in finals because they're a Manchester club.

Born 57.

First Game ..pre season friendly in 66 (i think) v Bolton

Season ticket from then till emigrating in 88

Hangin out for my next trip back...hopefully May this year.

mad respect for all those who has been a blue for many a decades.

me, born in 81.

started supporting city since late 1998. if not for Oasis, i would not have heard of City as the club that it is, and might have ended up being a plastic rag like 99.99% of my fellow countrymen. i took interest of City and went about watching City matches on tv and reading about them. it was a struggle as back then, our Premier League Sunday TV was saturated with Spuds, Liverpool and almost always the rags. City was below their brainwashing agenda, which unfortunately worked on Asians. brand merchandising and media and TV exposure became the reasons for the Far East gullibility to the big4. but i persevered, having my dad and sister located in England made it easier for me to keep in touch with City.

i then became old enough to take a sabbatical leave from working and studied and lived in Manchester, not being a season ticket holder, only went to three games in Maine Road. money was tight being a non-EU student having to fork out 12,000quid per year.

so, if i do my maths, i have been a blue for 12 years?

EDIT:

i should add that i lived in london since 1994 and was groomed to be a spuds fan since my sister's lad was a diehard spuds fan. but it never grew into me. City did, but i took the calling around 1998 yes.
