How long have you genuinely supported our city

First game was Easter Monday 1975. Lost 0-3 v Liverpool.
Stood in the uncovered bit between Kippax and North Stand. The rollercoaster ride continues.

Am 59 this year first went when I was 8 years of age to a reserve game with my mate and his dad, against everton (they used to bring a woman who went around the pitch throwing sweets into the crowd). Am the only city fan in a family of rags my mum used to think she brought the wrong baby home from ancoats hospital.
Its been a long time and wouldnt have changed for anything

Man u are shite

Born 1970,,, my 1st game as a 6 year old...But I don't remember the playoff final in 90/91.

sorry im a cock 99

TFFT!

For one awful moment there I thought I had missed out on yet another harrowing match. That my mind was playing tricks on me and had simply deleted an awful memory.

;-)

Thank God.

All my life really. Went with my dad in 1952 aged 8 to my first game which was Charlton Athletic and have gone to every game I can ever since. Now I go with my three sons and cant wait to enjoy the great future which is ahead of us. For me the past was always blue and now the future is definately blue.

my life began again in 89, had a blip with the law and missed seasons 87 through to 89, I kid you not my first game back was the 89 5-1 released on sept 12 89 and 8 days later we stuff the rag fuckers, i was in heaven

First City game was at WHL when I was about 9 years old back in the 70's, first game at Maine Rd was Leeds. Mum saved her persil tokens for the train tkts for the three of us.

Went to a few games before this but can't remember much due to my age, but started going regularly by myself in the 97-98 season (against Bury 1-1 draw i think)
Have had a few season tickets, couldn't afford it recently so have a citycard.

Went to watch Bolton often due to my dad being a fan (would pick me up at weekends from my mums and take me)
Thankfully he saw the light and did one to Malaga, he supports his local team now and so do i :D

Thing i liked about him he hated the scum more than most city fans i come across, he detested them

You know what? Even I don't eff up quoting stuff quite like that. ;-) Although I have had my moments (but they are mostly lying fookers. Don't listen to them)

Anyway, back to your post. That must have been quite a "release" in more ways than one?!!

Not sure where my earlier ones are but have been a season ticket holder since 78/79 season and have been going regular since 6th March 1976 City 4 v 0 Sheff Utd which was the week after we won our last major trophy, so like many blues i'm still fucking waiting!
