I know its not a magor topic but was wondering which is quickest way home from wembley we parked watford train in and back then up m1 got home at 9.10 to warrington
would be interested to see which is quickest for future trips have done coach and train before but cant remember which was best m1 was very slow back up to m6.
what time did coachs get back
and trains.

We got back to Manchester at 9pm

Parked at Watford Metropolitan Tube

Would have got back quicker but heard on Radio that there was an accident on Northbound M1 just in front of us so came off a bit earlier than would have liked.

Heard on 606 that a Sunderland fan was still trying to get out of the car park whilst we were North of Leicester at that time.

Best way back is parking at Tube with a direct connection to Wembley. And maybe avoiding Wembley Way as the Police filter fans back into that Tube Station.
 
stockport at 8.05pm, left Wembley at 4:30pm and got a slice of luck getting off the car park and going via greenford. weather was crap
 
We parked just behind the Greyhound on someone's drive. Set off @ 4:45 and got onto the A40 quick sharpish with little traffic heading out towards the M40. Got to Norton Caines services just after 7 for a brew stop and then got back to Manc by 9. It would have been a lot quicker if it wasn't for the torrential rain.

I will definitely be doing that route again.
 
Parked at Watford Junction and didn't get home till after 10. Hard old drive last night especially in that rain.
 
On the coach, everybody back on coach for 4-45 got out of the car park at 6-00, at the Etihad for 10-30. Train for me next time.
