how long to get home

Our coach didn't get back until 11.30pm, due to a combination of weather, traffic and pissing about in some small village trying to find an off licence. Great day though.

Out of Wembley, train to Marylabone, walk to Euston, could have got 1735 but opted for 1757, piccadilly by 2005, eccles 2020

Easy peasy

Parked on the Yellow Car Park at Wembley and no queue to get off. Even with horrible weather on the M1 we were home for 8.30.

went on travel coach, parked on Yellow car park and took 1+ hours to get off. Not sure if there are separate yellow car parks for cars and coaches but the coach park was chaos. then the traffic and the weather, back @ the Stadium about 10:30 pm

Got back to A-u-L 11.30pm. Only way to avoid the traffic is to stay overnight but having said that travelling back to Manchester on a Monday is not always an easy journey. If we get someone like Arsenal or Charlton in the semis there'll be less traffic heading north.

I think the difference is there were only two of us to get back to the car whilst you're waiting for a load to turn up. There were two exits and the csp guys directed us to one where nobody was going.

In the Green Man for an hour after the game then taxi to Heathrow & flew back up on the 20:15 flight from Heathrow - Glasgow. Flight was delayed for half an hour, but home for 22:45.

Couldn't make it myself, but my son went for a couple in The Green Man afterwards, then Wembley Central to Watford, train to Stockport, and lift home to Cheadle Hulme, walked in at 8.30.

drove down saturday stayed overnight in Dunstable in minibus. So easy going but coming back! Finally got home at midnight after drop offs.Maybe M40 next time.

Didn't get back till gone 12, as our coach broke down on the Wembley car park. The upside was we got to have an hour in the not so Quality Inn hotel bar.

Think we left the yellow coach park about 5. Took about an hour to move a mile, but then was fine after that. Made two short stops at services and back for about 10.30

Not too bad really. Much better coming home after a win

Set off from our parking spot behind Wembley Park Station @ 4:50 and took the M40 back, was home in Heaton Chapel for 8:35 and that was after a 20 minute stop at the services for a coffee and refuel. Great going!

On a side note how much did your fuel cost for the day? Ours was £60 split 3 ways which I was well chuffed with.

Back in Barrow in Furness at 12.30am great journey home once we finally got away from Wembley which must have taken a good 60-90mins.

I was back in Manchester at 9pm after catching the 20:05pm flight from Heathrow.I could have got home before then if i had booked an earlier flight but i had to plan on extra time and penalties just in case.At least it gave me plenty of quality no rush time after the game and flying is certainly a stress free way to go,no sooner are you in the air than you are making your descent to land!

Arrived back in Mcr' around 10.30pm, but it took us an age to out of Stanmore Tube Station - then the M1 was a crawl for ages.. plus we stopped at Corley Services for half an hour.. so not too bad (services were overrun with Blues!) ;-)

Was you stalking me. Home time, route, Stanmore, and Corley was my route. Never seen the M1 so bad.

Mate in car had a mare getting away from Wembley & the M1 was a pain got back 10:20
