I was just wondering how many City fans do people think live outside of Manchester and the North West region. I personally come from a shitty town just outside Gatwick but me, my dad (originally from Irlam) and brother drive up to as many games as possible with our season tickets. Im hoping to get into Manchester university this year for purely footballing reasons however which would make up for having to leave here for all my life.

anyway on the way up we do see a fair few City fans driving past and I was thinking that maybe even City have a few supporters in Surrey and Sussex like our hated neighbours.

which uni you planning opn going to mate?

The University of Manchester, not the metropolitan one. So badly want to get in because I love Manchester as a City and with my gran and Aunt still up there its not so problematic that it is so far away from here. It's the best way to motivate myself to revise as I need ABB!

cool what course you hoping to do? ... im in my first year and tbh the university/education is crap, it's all about the nightlife, the city, the people etc. (man met students tend to be much more of a luagh than the majority of man uni)

no doubt your old fellas told you anyway but stay away from irlam, theres a few blues but majority rag central

You won't find too many City supporters on Campus though, I have to tell you that. A 2nd year myself.. Though the student ticket deals are really really lovely. Good seats if you get them early and I've never paid more than £20 for a ticket..

Moved to Portland nr Weymouth from Heywood about 12 years ago, only managed to get to the COMS to see the Chelsea & Hamburg games this year (Gutted, but 300 miles away). But on the plus side im surrounded by sea and it hardly ever rains. Thank fook for Streamed Games!
