I haven't been in there for a long time but used to frequent it when I worked at Baggeridge brick. It used to be a 'real' pub from what I remember with a proper bar. A bit spit & sawdust, but that's not a bad thing :-) Don't know what it's like now though.

Stranded in SW London for 15 years...my local team is Chelsea (since Wimbledon relocated to Milton Keynes) so it's probably cheaper to go to Eastlands for a game anyway!!!

its a busy pub now, theres always real ale on, poker on weds and always some kind of entertainment at the weekened, next time yer in ask ange or pete behind the bar if I`m in and we`ll have a natter.

Sounds like a good idea mate :-) My Mother lives in Old Hedging Lane, Dosthill so I pop up that way pretty frequently. I'll try to get up in the next couple of weeks or so for a pint or two. If you're ever coming down the other end of Tamworth (I live by the other Fox pub) let me know.

Dad from Manchester, Mum from Cardiff, family moved down here when i was a kid.
Didn't have a choice as to who i supported, the funny thing is that my Mother is a rabid City fan even though she only lived in Manchester for 6 years & it was more often her that drove me up to see City through the 70's & 80's and took me to the 81 cup final & 85 full members cup final .
Whenever i visit or phone her City is always the first topic of conversation lol.
All my children now support City & hopefully they are going to see City lift the trophies that i always dreamed about during my youth.
