He was insane last night.

Wonder if he had something personal with RB Leipzig? In the box everytime he got near the ball one of their defenders ended up on his arse.

It’s the Champions League knock-out stage. Players raise their game to another level in that competition when it gets to this point.

Irrelevant to the issue. As has already been pointed out, Kane is up there with the very best the PL has seen. Yet he's barely won a coin toss in his career. Strikers are dependent on those playing alongside them. And Spurs have underachieved for years now. Hardly Kane's fault, given his career figures.

Not so. Terry Bly scored 52 league goals for Peterborough in 1960-61, and I believe 54 in all matches. It was thePosh's first season in the FL and they scored goals for fun, mainly thanks to Mr Bly. I admit, though, it wasn't in the top tier of the FL.

Strangely, no one seems to recall Terry Bly these days. Dixie Dean did of course score 60 goals in a league season in Div One, for Everton. He later ran a pub in Chester called the Dublin Packet, and hated the sobriquet "Dixie", preferring the forename "Billy" (as he was christened William Ralph).
