How many league goals will Haaland score this season?

I think he's got naturally incredible positioning, and a striker's 'sense', but I've noticed a lot of purposeful coaching in his positioning showing through, especially at corners.

He'll regularly go to the front post to either receive a head back across or be ready for the spill from a back post header. Furthermore his natural ability to attack the keeper is being brought out more under Pep I think, so he gets tonnes of rebounds. Incredible stuff this season.

Different times.

In that season the average goals scored per team was 80. Last season it was 53.

Dean may also only have played 42, but those would be 42 x 90mins with no subs. Haaland will have played a lot more games, but might not be far off the same minutes by the end of the season.

Absolutely astonishing achievement from Dean, but not really comparable.

And special mention to John Wark of Ipswich Town..34(?) Goals from central midfield for the great footballing outfit from Portman rd.
But our own Centre Forward is from a different planet.
What a season this is turning out to be.

Were any bookies offering odds on him breaking Dean's record mate? Must've been some tasty odds if they were! Looking at the number of games we have left minimum and assuming this injury isn't serious then it's certainly doable

I try and keep away from Football betting...so I didn't even bother looking! Regret that now.
