I was more referring to the people that piled on the money after the first 6 games. To be honest I was about to and then i was a hat trick too late and the odds dropped to nothing.I’m on the 40 goals one at 250/1 with £20 on it. Not worried as such as it’s £20 lost at end of the day. I always said I’d consider a cash out at over £3k but highest has been about £2400. Since it’s dropped recently to £1400 cash out I’ve stopped thinking about it so much. It’s probably saved me a fortune betting on every game as this one bet has kept interest going all season. I’m in til the end now………sod it

To be fair, balotelli having a hair cut was always odds on. :DDon’t want to butt into the conversation but I think he can do it but I also think he probably needs to score 2 hat tricks to give himself that breathing space of maybe 7 in 10 games.

He will certainly miss some of the remaining games. I'll be pessimistic and say he stops at 33 in about 35 games which is still crazily good in this league for anyone
He did look like he was going to absolutely obliterate the records at one point but I think it was probably unrealistic to expect him to keep scoring at the same rate all season.
In hindsight, we have just had an incredibly hard run of games and for much of it the team has been absolutely dreadful.
Personally, I’m going to estimate 10 more league goals for Erling. A hat trick, maybe two braces and a few 1-goal games.

Yeah, getting us back in the game vs Newcastle, hatrick against Utd, killing off Arsenal at the Emirates, late on vs Dortmund, against Liverpool in the cup, equaliser vs Spurs after being 2-0 down…
Not all winners but hugely important goals.

The funny part about that chart is, the other 4 are all having great seasons and if you took Haaland out altogether it would look like a normal league season's goalscorer chart. But he's miles, miles out in front and even if he didn't score for the rest of the season they'd need serious purple patches to catch up.
Can't wait to see him next season once he's had a year with Guardiola's system and we've tuned the defence and midfield a bit.
