He has definitely started to revert to his mean - but that is still way above anybody else's. All he really needs is two or three good games between now and the end of the year to beat the PL record.

I agree, that would be an unbelievable achievement for a 22 year old in his first season in the league.

The irony being that if he 'only' got 35 you can bet Sky Sports would have a feature on 'an opportunity missed for Haaland to stamp his mark' or some such bullshit.

He did look like he was going to absolutely obliterate the records at one point but I think it was probably unrealistic to expect him to keep scoring at the same rate all season.
