How many more people will now become City fans?

Fucking thousands, we need em to fill the expansion apparently. ;)
It's okay, Sheikhy will buy all the tickets and hand them out for free to the local scrotes, just as he does now. Have you seen the empti ground on match days? It's like a cross between "The Hills have eyes", and that bar in Mos Eisley. Truly, a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

And that's just the Tunnel Club patrons.

I saw some very interesting ‘concept’ drawings last night.

They showed the west and east stands expanded out to envelop the spirals with a fourth tier added above.

On the face of it they appear practical and would create a capacity of 85000.

This is interesting in light of the long term (30/35 years) draft plan to build and new stadium on the huge site that houses the CFA.

Don’t shoot the messenger !!

That’s really interesting. So we would look to build a new stadium eventually? I have heard this.

On a side note, I wish that they expanded the south stand to be one tier instead of three. I hope they have some plans for the new north stand expansion in terms of a singing section or something. The atmosphere where I am is good, but I’m in the south stand lower tier. I mean the atmosphere change happened over night from the Maine Road switch. Those last few years I honestly believe we had the best atmosphere in England. But as soon as we moved it dipped massively. As I say, it’s great where I am at the Etihad in SS1. But it’s nothing compared to hearing every stand singing in unison at Maine road, in virtually every game, certainly the big games. I know people bang on about Hamburg years ago, I was at that game too, and although yes it was very good, it was nothing compared to say the 3-1 at Maine Road when Goater scored two, or the 3-0 against Millwall when they had no fans, or countless other games I can remember.

I don’t believe the problem lies with fans, I believe the majority are passionate and enjoy signing. But the main issue, is for whatever reason, we can’t hear each other that well, from block to block. I’m just two blocks away from the away fans and I very rarely hear any team singing that much. For example, against Arsenal, barely heard them, but I was told they were quite loud. I can’t hear anything from the above tiers in the SS either, not a thing. I can’t hear the North stand. But I’ll sometimes see them stood up and you can tell they are singing. Then quite often you get block 115,116 and 117 singing the same song but out of tune to each other. I don’t think 117 and 115 can hear each other well. I don’t know why that is. I’m not sure they can do anything but it would be good if they looked into it that as a priority.

120,000 paid Cityzens Matchday Members is incredible to be fair on top of 36,000-40,000 Season ticket holders.

My betting is that only maybe 20,000 of them would be interested in a season ticket should they be offered one, though.

Even 20,000 would more than justify the stadium expansion that is being ridiculed by our haters

Been to the Mad Hatter in New York twice around 8 years ago when it was the official supporters club.
They were great hosts, not been to Ammity yet, but you guys seem to be doing a great job
I was in the Hatter when we got knocked out of the Cup by Wigan. Great hosts, it seemed at the time that the rent, if memory serves, was about to triple which meant having to find a new home.

Still proudly have one of the very last Mad Hatter coffee mugs on the mantlepiece.

True Blues them New Yorkers.
