You mentioned their kit, well do you remember the kit that Plymouth wore at Maine Road that season, green, black and white zig-zags, it was shocking LOL

My grandson still wears our red and black check Phillips away shirt which my son gave to him a couple of years ago. He’s very proud of it.

Anyone there on that frosty New Year’s Day in 1966 when we beat them 2-0 at Maine Road? I think they were 2nd to us in the League at the time. A very tense game and a big result for us.

I was there too. From memory only, I think the crowd was something like 47161, only bettered by the Liverpool v rags match at Klanfield.

And, yes, I was there on Sunday.
