Unlucky son, girona is about an hour & half coach journey to barca. Our kid had his stag do there & booked his flights to there, nightmare. By the way for those of you going id recomend you stay in groups and keep your hands in your pockets when walking anywhere near las ramblas, especially in the back streets, its like running the fucking gauntlet after 4pm

heh, sorry just seen all the comments on some pages, couldnt be arsed trawling through. did see someone said its like anywhere else, but believe me its the worst i've ever seen. there were literally 3 guys on each cross junction of streets, all looking at your pockets. Someone in our group had his phone nicked first night, and had his pockets tried on 3 other occasions. I just kept my phone in an inside pocket & put my hands in my pockets and didnt have a problem.
I wont be coming unfortunately, though I would love to, times are a bit to hard at the moment for me.

look dont scare off the first timers lads, they get the message now, i ve been 9 times never had a problem but seen it twice once was a drunk who lost his matesi reckon the other was a daft german flashing his camera around, i know its a shame but the problem lies with the police they just cant be arsed going undercover, when there is a mugging they arrive 45 mins later just to make sure the twats have got away

sure you see them stood on corners but that is what they do anyway they walk round the shops we go on the piss its a culture thing... if you were stood with your mates in piccadilly and some spanish lads walked past you would stare at them.. just be careful you will be ok
