How many players from our 2014 home meeting with Bayern would make our current XI?

Serge on his own would beat any team in the world. Ever. He’d score from the ko then his big, beautiful, Argentinian bollocks would repel all attacks.

Nowhere near as good as Grealish.

"On his day" he was indeed gifted. Shame his day was also once in a blue moon. Shit mentality and work rate.

Look at his career since he left City. Says it all.
Sorry I can't agree that he was good only on a blue moon. He dipped a lot towards the end but for a good while he was great as we're loads at the time. We were/are spoiled.

Very few players are great when they leave us. Thankfully their best is usually at City.

For all Milner hasn't exactly endeared himself since leaving. I'd definitely have him on the bench he could do a job anywhere on the pitch

If

If we were only playing one upfront Sergio might struggle. Obviously Kompany would and i’d have Hart at his best over Eddie but no chance he’d suit our current style of play
Hart at his peak was a very good keeper (arguably his peak City form was probably prior to this game?) For me anyway, the 2nd best City keeper I've seen, behind the other Joe, as I'm too young to remember Swift and Trautman.
Like you , I would too give him the nod over Eddie (though as you say not a Pep player). Similair to Nasri ,hasn't really 'pulled up any trees' since leaving us.
Just looked at the subs, Zaba came on...now he would make thevCity team in any era in most peoples eyes!

Only VK and Sergio for me. Lampard in his prime, but not on his City sojourn.
Nasri when he could be bothered would challenge Jack. Prime Hart, if he played it short!

Raz is thinking about this post.

Prime Aguero, in this team, would score as many as Haaland.
Just my opinon

He wouldn't though.

Haaland is a goal a game striker. He was in Austria, he was in Germany, he is for Norway. He's done it in really bad sides, he's done it in the best side in the world, and everything in between. It's got nothing to do with the quality of City.

Aguero just isn't/wasn't. No striker has scored goals like Haaland since Ronaldo rocked up in Europe in 1995, and injuries stopped him being that effective by the time he was 23, it's not a slight for someone to not be as good as that.
