How many points to win the league?

Anybody else starting to think with Chelsea shifting through the gears recently means they're gonna be more of a threat than united?
They've always been the bigger threat for me, but in recent weeks they've lost to West Ham, and drawn with Everton, and didn't exactly set the world alight against Sothampton, Bournemouth, or Brighton either.

They also need title winning form (2.33 points per game) to get to 84 points, while we can afford mid table form to get there (1.44 points per game).

They're the better team but have just been inconsistent, perhaps suffering from a title winning hangover like we have in past.
If united carry on in this form Chelsea will finish above them

Yup. They are an excellent team. Engine with Kante, pace with Hazard, solid CBs, great net-minder. United are all smoke and mirrors right now. Chelsea are the real deal IMO.
really? costa was a big loss, didnt think they were all that last season but they were very clinical with him in the side. Always looked pretty average to me when ive watched them this season.

Chelsea have always been the main threat for me, for the simple reason they are very good & Utd are not very good.

Utd have scrawped points on numerous occasions & Chelsea have fucked up on several.

I can't see any reason either of them will do a great deal better in the 2nd half of the season, because they know they are not really challenging for the title. You would expect that would cause them to take their eye off the ball here & there, especially when other competitions are involved.

5 teams fighting for top 3 top 4 places should mean they won't take their eye off the ball much, my best guess is Chelsea second and have a feeling Liverpool 3rd then a 3 way fight between the other 3 for 4th.

97 guarantees the title as of right now

I know a lot can change in football, but considering we can still drop 12 points and still get 100 points I would be dissapointed if we don’t achieve that considering how we have played so far this season.

And of course Manure's feeble showing against Southampton is nothing to do with Maureen's £378m team - it's all down to the non-pen they should have had - forgetting of course Young's elbow on Tadic. Bye bye Manure. No let up now - get that gap up to 16 points on Chelsea.
