How many points to win the league?

Alongside the 'Biggest Waiting List' trophy.

Fucking lot of them 'waiting' at home last night.
Of the Premier League's money grabbing breakaways they are the ones who have been without a league title the longest.
Bleedin 'ell I'm old and even I don't remember them winning it, although I've had heard a lot about Tottenham and double winning history

Spurs won the double? Next you'll be telling me Dave Whealen broke his leg in a Cup final.

I really want us to do the double one day. Still a very unique and special achievement. (Apart from thr 90's)

I expect us to drop between 12 and 16 points between now and then end of the season, losing three times in the process.

Even legislating for that, we are coming in at anywhere between a record 96 points and 100.

I think 83 points will be sufficient and we can have it boxed off by late March.

Acceptable.

id love it if we had it boxed off in March. 2 months of watching football and not having crippling anxiety would be pure bliss.

83 may well do it but to be on the safe side I’d say 86 would be a guarantee, that would mean the scum need 40 points from 16 games to beat us which would be the equivalent of 12/4/0 or 13/1/2 which is highly unlikely.

Edit....which would mean we need 24 points from 16 games, 8 wins, lol.

I was watching City from a very young age & have never seen Spurs win a title. But your post has just reminded me, that in the modern era, I've not seen them win the FA Cup either, since the Prem started.

When you consider what an obnoxious bunch of loudmouths they are & the fact that they & their obnoxious loudmouth ex chairman, were one of the driving forces behind the whole moneygrabbing idea of the Premier League etc, we went to hell & back during that period, whilst they have dined at the top table, & crowed about it, & it looks like we are about to hoover up our 3rd title; they have won a couple of League Cups & absolutely fuck all else, since.

It's wonderful.

From their last 16 games? Much as I would "luv it" if that happened, you're looking at more like high twenties/low thirties (27 to 33 ish). They have a knack of grinding out undeserved wins.
No I meant we'd need 20 lol, pro rata united will take 34 points

I think Chelsea will finish above Manure and at best finish on 84 points.

Liverpool to finish third but struggle to break 80 points with Manure a point or two behind them as I don't think they will win any of the games against the other teams in the top 6 at present.
