How many points to win the league?

Yep it would reduce by half with your scenario.
Depending on how many we lost by! A few defeats, one of them heavy, could soon see the goal difference turn around. Highly unlikely i know; the only time goal difference is of any benefit is after 38 games. Until we have played 38 games I look at the points gap. It's 13, not a hypothetical 14.

Just want it to be Saturday night and we have another 3 in the bag.

Its not hypothetical , it is what it is a 22 goal differential.

36 pts to play for

13 pts ahead....therefore we need 23 pts from 12 games 8 wins or 7 wind and two draws from 12 games (presuming utd or others win every game. They have to play both Liverpool Arsenal and Chelski at home. Their away game besides us are all pretty easy.)

out of the "normal top 6" we play:

Away
Arsenal
Spurs

Home:
Utd - beating that lot would make a difference to the maths as its a 3pt swing in either way depending on the result (unless its a draw)
Chelsea

Other away games are
Everton - should be safe
Stoke - fighting relegation
Westham - fighting relegation
Southampton (last game of season) - fighting relegation

Other home games:
Leicester - safe
Brighton -could possibly be fighting relegation
Swansea - fighting relegation
Huddersfield - fighting relegation

Brighton Swansea and Huddersfield at home for us will all be fighting relegation at the point we play them probably.........anythign can happen in these games at the end of the season....it may help as they may not be able to play 10men behind the ball but also they may and hope to nick 3 pts on the break....Stoke and Westham also

By the time we play Southampton they may no their fate (only 2 pts about drop zone at present)

I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose at Spurs.....

Arsenal may well be better without Sanchez and the addition of Aubamayang will give them a boost.....

The derby - well utd with Sanchez area a different prospect...they looked more attacking in there last two games (didnt work at spurs) - did this weekend vs Huddersfield...depends how Jose plays I suppose.....what we don't want to do is ket the gap decrease by anymore than it is to give them hope going into that game

Chelsea at home again will be different...they seem to have improved as the season has gone on (not the force they were last season however)

Everton (bogey team) - away is a huge game - get a win there and that will help.

I do believe it will be a lot closer than it is now at the end of the season
6 teams are fighting relegation because they are shite............we aren't

We weren't watefull against Everton! We went down to 10 men when 1-0 down, got the equaliser but couldn't find the winner.

From memory Aguero tried walking the ball into the net when one on one but understand that we were not carving them up due to the bullshit sending off.

think the gap will tighten a little just due to our other commitments, i think we'll win it by about 5 pts

Even though we drew at Burnley we’ve still gained a point at least over the field from the last weeks games. We’re now more points ahead than games left. All teams will carry on taking points off each other so I reckon 8 more games to the title.

Another of the factors that's making us jittery is the manner of our 2012 league win.
We came from behind from a seemingly hopeless position and overtook our arch enemies to pull off probably one of the unlikeliest victories the Prem has seen.
There couldn't have been a more visible metaphor to illustrate to the football world that the balance of power was changing and we were in the process of usurping their dominance.
Having done that, we as a fanbase are more aware than most that it's not over till it's mathematically over and we're edgy because we don't want to give them a chance to avenge that defeat, to remove the stake we've driven through their collective raggy hearts.
I honestly think we wouldn't be quite so nervous if it was any other team that was in second place.

6 more wins will put us on 86 points, if one of them wins is against the rags then the most they can achieve is 89 points. However I have a feeling it will all be over by the time we play them.
