I think folk are basing it on they kinda collapse every season, I'm with you on this one though regarding them running us close and can see them getting around the 88/90 point mark. It's just I see us bettering that amount.

yeah i see that too, i see 2 big totals with us coming out in top by 3 or 4? say Liverpool about 87, us about 90. They got 84 in 13/14, though i admit they didnt have europe.

Klopp's sides have never managed to churn up a league like Pep's sides.

His Dortmund side at their very best got to 81 points - the equivalent of 90 in a 38 game season which is by far his best total in a season.

Guardiola has done better than that in 7 of his 9 seasons.

No manager in history has had his sides grind out league titles the way that Pep has.

My guess would be 96 points for us and runner up 88. But like I said, a not so educated guess.

95 points is something like 4 losses and 7 draws. That is easily doable given our fixture list I think we'll end up with 100+ again though

4 losses and 7 draws is 88 points I think. Dippers to me look like they can get to 3 and 5 tops which is 95. But who can say at this stage. We are entering into the second and perhaps crucial stage of the season i.e. the run up to the New Year. Our game against the Dippers early in January might turn out to the game which decides things come May. 3 losses and 4 draws in terms of stats should win no matter what happens.
