How many points to win the league?

I could see Liverpool winning all 9 games. I know they’re on a wobble but think there will be less pressure on them in second place. Would be great for them to drop more points before we play Spurs and Rags to give us some breathing room. After Newcastle thought we had to win every game to have any chance that may still be the case.

Amazing to think that without Liverpool having the best season in their history we would be strolling to another title, ten points ahead of our nearest rivals. That is in spite of all our injuries and inexplicable losses to Palace, Leicester and Newcastle, games we were all leading in and looking comfortable. We have to finish the job now, no complacency just win.

If they win all remaining 9 games though I can't see them being second for long.

Actually don't think being in second place is any less pressure than being in first anyway. They way Liverpool carry on whenever they're in reaching distance of a title, it means the pressure is on wherever they are in the league. They'll be terrified right now of dropping any more months and slipping further behind. Loved how rattled Andy Robertson was in his post match interview yesterday.

90 points wouldn't surprise me, I think we'll get more though.

You think the scousers are only going to get 19 points from the last 27? I think it will be far more than that. Too close to call at the moment but one thing I am fairly sure of - whoever comes second is going to break the (unwanted) record for most points without winning the league.

I think we need 98. The dippers are going to dig now they've had the reality check of going behind. We need to win every one, they probably will unfortunately.

Not sure about that this time. The spark they had early on has gone. Salah would of scored 3 yesterday had they been firing on all cylinders.

Whilst they have won they haven't won them all and they have drawn games where they could of really pushed on, how many on here said it was over after Newcastle?

The pressure clearly got to them yesterday because we put the points on the board first and we could be 4 points clear before they kick a ball this weekend.

I don't think they will win them all but they probably won't lose either, the most important thing is taking points when they drop them.

As Pep keeps saying, if we do win the league and win any of the other trophies, we surely have to go down as one of the best teams ever. The fact Liverpool have only lost once and we are top just goes to show how good we are.
