In trying to win everything we could end up with nothing! Personally I'd have rather have beaten Leeds than play a depleted team in the belief it may prolong our efforts in the Champions League.

Our problem is we never seem to learn that eventually something has to give in our quest to win everything. If we were only faced with trying to secure the Premier League and the Champions League we may have half a chance, but playing all 4 has turned April into a prime example of how if you spread yourself to thinly you become ineffective. Not only are teams sheets becoming random exercises in who's least tired, such a methodology seldom puts out our best 11 and as such our coherence suffers. I could have named United's team today and they have only one way of playing so can predictably grind results.

This is going to be one hell of a stressful month.

He actually does better when we have players out injured and the team literally picks it self.

La porte was out injured.

Dias and Stones form an incredible understanding and partnership. We go an insane amount of games with not even conceding a goal. Pep gets bored, soon as La porte is back from injury, he starts fucking about again. We scrape through with narrow wins, but we start conceding, when we were not conceding.

That abomination in Lyon when we saw our Bench at the end was mind boggling.

When KDB came back from injury i thought he was going to give him a cardiac arrest the amount of game time he was getting whilst clearly unfit.

KDB gets up to speed. Rediscovers his form

We finish against 10 man Leeds with KDB on the Bench. Game was screaming for his creativity.

Whilst we’re still not in a title race yet, we’ve created unnecessary pressure on the final run of league games when we should have had it pretty much won.

As it is Villa & Palace I think have now become must wins, some may not agree.

Understandable people are sh*tting it I guess. United are not going to drop points and we have a serious run of fixtures with the league and various domestic cups. We’re gonna have to prioritize. Reserves go out for the FA cup and the EFL cup. Best XI for the league and we mix and match for Champions League.

Shitting it is a strong word, but agree, understandable people recognising there is still games to be won to actually secure it.

3 losses is all it could take for us to not win it. Unlikely as that may seem, it isnt inconceivable.

The reason many wanted it won early, was so we could prioritise CL and rest playere. Well we've rested players and prioritised. We could have lost a game like that atnsome point even eith running keyntop players into the ground.


It was always going to be a tough run in all competitions so nothing new. We won 21 in a row in all competitions, doesn't mean we can do a bunch again. Get through on Wednesday and then take it one game at a time from there.

A line up that dominated the game and had almost 15 times as many shots as them. The line up was absolutely spot on bearing in mind our circumstances. Losing doesn’t change that unless you are hysterical. Defeats are a normal thing in sport.

I guess putting Fern back as centre half in the final few minutes was as well!

Pep has to manage the squad to give us the best chance of winning as many trophies as possible. It doesn’t matter if we win the PL by 11 points or 3.
