You are carol vordaman and I claim my £5, brilliant maths
I sense sarcasm but I meant if we beat them 2 teams, we only need 10 total, not 12, so it will be 8 more.

And have you seen Leicester's last three games?!As well as coming to the Etihad, the Rags have got to travel to Chelsea, Spurs, Leeds, Villa and Wolves... and still have to play the dippers and Leicester at home
They're dropping plenty of points in that lot
We are going to get 85 points minimum, so rags/Leicester would virtually have to win every game from now, which neither are capable of. The title race is over, we’ve won it.
What’s Bale got to do with this ?Slowly slowly catchy monkey.
Were the only team left in all competitions as well.. It ain’t over till it’s over with the season being so unpredictable with covid
That’s a good shout, I can also see chelsea doing wellCity. 85

That post has made me go all weak at the kneesI like to look at numbers once you get through into the 2nd half of the season, it gives a true reflection of where teams are.
Leicester and the Rags are the two teams best positioned to catch us and at present their PPG puts them on target to get 73 points, lets assume one of them has a strong run in and gets to 80 points. This means them getting 34 points from the 42 that remain. To do this they would have to match our points per game that we have managed so far this season. Even then for us to lose the title race we would have to finish on 79 points assuming that they some how pull back our goal difference.
So they would need us to fall apart to such an extent that we only gain a maximum of 26 points from our final 15 games, in effect gaining just 1.666 points per game, this is pretty much where Tottenham and Villa are currently.
Don't forget that this is based on them getting to 80 points and I can't see either getting there considering they have to play each other and us yet.
My guess is 78 points will be enough to win the league this year, so 25 points to go.
Eight wins and a draw from the last 15 games.
The more games we win in the next couple of weeks, the fewer we’ll need overall - I can see the others dropping even more points if we can stretch the lead to 10 or 12 points as they’ll lose hope. If we can win the next three, we may only need another 4/5 wins after that.As well as coming to the Etihad, the Rags have got to travel to Chelsea, Spurs, Leeds, Villa and Wolves... and still have to play the dippers and Leicester at home

As Pep says, one game at a time,.All ifs buts and maybes, Everton on Wednesday, we need to win, that is all we can think about
Spot on!It's not over till we get the points
No chance is there only 10 points in it. I’d say 15 absolute minimum but more likely 20.City. 85

Not counting my chickens yet. But I think 76pts will be enough to win it this season based on form of everyone else. Leicester are the biggest threat in my opinion but I still don't see them getting more than 75pts.
If United or Leicester could win 10 games from 14, it would be a fantastic return from either of them. This is form that neither are in, or shown to be capable of. Fuck it, let’s be extra kind and throw in a couple of draws for them as well. This unbelievable form for either of them, gets them to 78 (SEVENTY EIGHT) points. There is absolutely no way on planet earth that we don’t collect another 26 points from 15 games to top their totals.
What the other sides do is now largely irrelevant, no other side can win it now. Only City can throw it away, and I am 100% confident we won’t do that.
We don’t need to win it but a ten point gap would probably make Leicester and United subconsciously think it’s hopeless. A seven or eight point gap after Wednesday isn’t too shabby though. All ifs buts and maybes, Everton on Wednesday, we need to win, that is all we can think about
