am never writing off liverpool ? its easy to think wow 7 points but we have turned around bigger gaps when it looks impossible so respect has to be shown ? united will be a major player in who wins the title and games vs liverpool and city. they will be key games at the time we play them so again we must not turn off and go back into our shell

90 points will be enough to win the title. i don't see liverpool getting 90 points from here on in ? they would have to win every game in the 19 left and that would be beating city united spurs everton ?

city can reach 98 points so we can lose 2 games and still be ahead of liverpool ? united still can 94 but that would be like mission impossible and die hard but together
80 points will be enough this season , more than enough.

I'm absolutely not counting any chickens, and I'd jump at a draw at Anfield now. I don't think any team will go on the type of run City/Liverpool did in that season when we closed the 7 point gap, however. Liverpool are still playing with an improvised back four, with everyone left to play. We just need to match their results.

Yep 80 pts might not be enough 85 should get it done though.

after lasts night liverpool win we will need as many points as possible. like i said all it took was one poor game vs WBA and city clicked into gear ? liverpool and city race for the title

streets ahead of anyone else, think it will finally go to the team(us or Liverpool) that can stay the fittest.

Liverpool’s front line still look a little jaded and with amount of games and when CL comes back they will be playing virtually every game, I think it will be to much for them. Rags defence like ours last season so I think we’ll pop it with about 86

the fittest teams will have the legs. but i also think both city and liverpool systems are why we are ahead of the rest
and slot players in and keep the shape ? the rest lose key players and have to change the shape because everything goes through them

i said we should never write off liverpool even with key injuries in defence because they still have that front free and will score goals. but if they lose one of them to injury then it would be a different story

They weren't free they used the coutinho money:)

i thinks its a dangerous game naming points totals and looking ahead to far ? pep likes the one game at a time and will never quote a total to aim at in the media. yes in house maybe pep is different and could work in blocks of games. he did say we are only at half way the other day. so maybe little targets in house with the players

i did say the other day city can still get 98 points so that is the aim ? anything else will depend on the others reaching and liverpool can get 91 points ? so 92 points will win the league that what i would be saying

i think it will be higher matey ? 80 points bring 4 or 5 teams into the race
also city would have to lose 6 games from here on in to finish on 80 points and i don't see pep letting that happen
I think if we get more than 80 points we will win the league.

Liverpool are on 37 points having dropped 23 points through the first 20 games they need 43 points in the remaining 18 games to finish on 80 points in other words have 11 points to play with.

Manure have to accumulate 40 points in other words repeat their first 20 games results total in their remaining 18 games dropping 14 points to finish.

Little point talking about any other club perhaps bar Leicester who have 13 points to play with.

Given their will be no supporters in the ground and given the situation at these grounds and given the trend of results and their injury situation I think 80 points is a realistic figure for the side finishing second this season to achieve at best.

You certainly won't have 4 or 5 teams finishing on 80 plus points this season.

We could lose another 5 games and still comfortably win the title depending on who we lose to.

We're only 4 points ahead (albeit a game in hand). That's 2 draws instead of 2 wins. Kev's out for a while, Aguero's still not fit and Jesus isn't in the best of form. We've got FA Cup games & League Cup final, as well as Champions League games. It'll be a lot tighter than we think.

it will be what ever total we get that will win the title, as i firmly believe that the players now have the bit between their teeth, pep has his spark back, and more importantly we are back to the old just focus on the next game , nothing else matters mentality, and that didnt work out to bad for us in the past did it

funny thing i read this morning is barcelona still owe £35million to liverpool hahahahahahha

Yeah i like how that figure grows with every re-reporting. did it not start at €23m in the official piblished accounts?
