I think the chips were down in a number of ways. There was uncertainty over Pep's situation for a long time, big players out of form, the style of play was as sterile as we've ever seen under him and there were lingering tensions over our loss to Lyon last summer. Might be more difficult to remember given the incredible run we're on but there was so much uncertainty in those early months and I'm absolutely ecstatic that Pep decided to commit his future and go again. This is going to be special.
Now u put it that way, I agree!
I think what I am trying to say is the media in general had the knives out for us and made more out of the situation than it merited

always thought at the time it was a hesterical over reaction by the press and the reality was that we was 8 points behind with a run of very favourable fixtures coming up ,we could quite easily get right back into it ?

anyway

all’s well that ends well

remarkable effort by pep and the players !

cant see the point of being able to change your vote, as the total goes down people will just change their votes, so at the end everyone will be right ?, weird.

It was a bit like the CAS poll, intended to capture our collective confidence vs pesimism. Early on, most thought we'd get shafted. The night before the verdict, if that was the first time you looked at it, you'd think BM was a heaven of optimism.

Absolutely hate all this assumption that it’s all done and dusted etc. Plenty on here need to rein it in. It’s over when it’s fucking over . Not a day minute second before
It’s like nobody has ever learnt anything from all their experiences in football.

Its done and dusted.
We're playing for records now, and they mean a lot to Pep and the team. I can understand people wanting to protect themselves or fear jinxing it, but I can assure you that if we lose it from here fans won't be mocking us for being cocky like they did with Liverpool in 2014, it'll be because we suffered the all time great collapse and there's nothing people on forums saying take it one game at a time will be able to do about it.

united went from 250/1 to 66/1 in one game at paddy Power (I’m aware viewing bookie odds isn’t a perfect science but it’s a good to gauge to see probability) . Make no mistake Southampton is now a very big game be interesting to see how we bounce back. 11 clear with 10 still gotta fancy us but still some work to be done
