Now u put it that way, I agree!I think the chips were down in a number of ways. There was uncertainty over Pep's situation for a long time, big players out of form, the style of play was as sterile as we've ever seen under him and there were lingering tensions over our loss to Lyon last summer. Might be more difficult to remember given the incredible run we're on but there was so much uncertainty in those early months and I'm absolutely ecstatic that Pep decided to commit his future and go again. This is going to be special.
I think what I am trying to say is the media in general had the knives out for us and made more out of the situation than it merited
always thought at the time it was a hesterical over reaction by the press and the reality was that we was 8 points behind with a run of very favourable fixtures coming up ,we could quite easily get right back into it ?
