Lovely weather for that game - not!
The previous Wednesday, it was 70°F in Coimbra for the ECWC game. We then came back to snow!

Only been a mere 21 times - the first in 1969 v Leicester, the last in 2019 for the Community Shield v Liverpool. Ill health has kept me from going to the ones since.

I also have no recollection of the game. I don't think I went but don't know why.
 
4 times, all with MCFC

1. Fa cup final v Wigan (less said about that day the better)
2.Fa cup final v Watford (my favourite day out following the blues at Wembley, great atmosphere around the ground especially in the torch pub and crystal nightclub before/after the game haha)
3. Carabao cup final v Villa (Villa fans are twats)
4. Fa cup semis v dippers (ended up with a duff ticket paid 40 quid to someone who was mutual friend of a blue I know, had to queue for an hour and 30 minutes down at the box office despite holding in a piss was able to get in for the last 10 of the game, there was around 30 other Blues in the same predicament as me so we all decided to beg the ground staff to open up the turnstiles as some had paid 200+ quid for ticket plus the travel cost coming down from Manchester. Sort of wish I hadn’t now tbh)

Not sure how many in total with old and new wembley but 24 after tomorrow with city and easily close to 100 combined with England over 52yrs. Best atmosphere Euro96 for me.Best experience Gillingham followed very closely by beating the rags. Best of the 2 stadiums the New Wembley in my opinion.

Stoke was an amazing day… Green man, sunshine, City win and lots of tears

Wigan was a crock of shit from start to finish, Manager gone, weather shit, flat atmosphere, we lost, crap drive home
 
After going to both games in 1981, I never thought I'd get to see City play there again....so around 14 more than expected. Marvelous stuff.
 
As a usable facility new Wembley light years ahead of the old - remember wooden benches for seats and splinters in 70s and the streets around Wembley way lined with cockney spivs . The old Wembley I think I went 3 times. 1 city which we don't talk about, still hate spurs, and 2 England home nations one of which was against Scotland which was the first time I saw someone wet themselves at the same time as attempting to finish there pint whilst also filling it up with there own vomit and wearing a kilt. Think that may have been trumped for pre match Wembley entertainment with the impromptu firework display at the Euros final (though never went to that and have only been to England games at the Etihad in the last 40 years)
New Wembley have lost count but must be now about 10, probably slightly more.
Oh and forgot Gillingham !! which could count as two trips as I left and then came back.
 
Never thought, back in the day, that I would loose count of the number of times I
have been. Too young in the 50s, 69 I was in Germany, got to the next 3 League Cup, then to(say it quietly) Spuds, missed the rags/Stoke but been to most since.

20th time watching City tomorrow. Between the old and new Wembley I've seen England 4 or 5 times, been to a few gigs there including Oasis the night they recorded Familiar To Millions but for a reason I'm not too sure of my Dad took me to Blackburn vs Everton in the Charity Shield in 1995. Went to the 2008 Johnsons Paint Trophy too.
