How many times have you been to Wembley??

Not sure but think yesterday was 2nd one I've missed. That includes, semi finals, finals, community shields and Spurs league games since 81 cup final

Worst one? I enjoyed it. Apart from some of the game and result. Great build up. Weird day. I found losing in the Community Shield around riots time more annoying. Not the worst though. Okay, Wigan was and always will be the worst Wembley experience. Semifinal defeats don't come close.
 
Genuinely lost count now. edit: just looked at the list I believe yesterday was my 28th time.

My first visit was the 1974 League Cup Final. The only City appearances that I have missed since '74 where the 2 (?) with Covid restrictions; that includes Spurs' home games.

Wembley is a home game for us as we live 40 something miles from there so it's the closest ground that we go to regularly. I'd go to every one possible if I still lived in Cheshire.

Yeah but hang on....it only cost £960 millions...up from the initial £500 million quote....bargain considering Arsenal's ground built at a similar time cost about £400-500 millions if my memory serves me right. I wonder how the fa managed to get away with that one.
 
This actually took some working out tbh. I can remember 30/40 years ago like it was yesterday but the last decade or so is just one blur. I think I've been 13. But maybe 12. Unless I can see a list in front of me with teams faced I'm kinda guessing. Nothing will ever top 99 though, unless of course we humiliate them Rag bastards in a final.

5 cup semi's 1 missed v chelsea( covid), 3 finals, 5 comm shields, 2 league v spuds, 1 ladies v west ham, several times with England, old and new
 
Just been trying to work it out; since the start of the 2010/11 season, have we (as a club) been there 24 times (not counting Spurs league games)? And has anyone been to all of them?
6 League Cup finals
4 FA Cup finals
8 FA Cup semi finals (including next month)
6 Community Shields (2 more at Villa and Leicester)

With possibly/hopefully 2 more to come by June 1st. Me? I've been 6 times.
 
I've been every time at the new Wembley including the spurs matches. Never went to watch city at the old Wembley only with England and a concert

My original list plus the FA Cup Final vs United makes total number of visits to see City at Wembley to 19.
So I will be making my 20th Wembley "pilgrimage" when we play Chelsea in April.
