How many trophies will we win?

Would love us to win the CL so we can go on and win the UEFA Super Cup and also the one where we will be called Champions of the World, just like the Dippers - Or will it be friendlies with "trophies" in our case?

Don’t personally know any City fan who even contemplates winning all four , the media are driving the quadruple talk in the hope that they can paint it as a failure when we don’t achieve it .

I must admit I didn’t know a lot about pep‘s personality before he came here but of all the many things I love about him his competitiveness and his burning desire to win every game are his best character traits imo. We are an elite club now he has changed our mentality it is incredible what he has done. Pellers and especially Mancini where great but pep is the best and is the only manager who could win us the quad

I agree. The most telling thing about this (and that we were in a similar position a few years ago) is that our club sets itself the highest standards. We now try to win everything, all the time. There aren't many clubs in the world that have such high standards, and it's an incredible amazing achievement to be at this point.

It's almost impossible to do - I mean, most of us recognise how unlikely winning the CL is by itself, let alone two other trophies (assuming nothing goes wrong with the Premier league campaign). But the ambition is undeniable.

We could quite possibly win the domestic treble at 2/1 if we draw Southampton in the FA Cup but, as always we usually go out at the QF stage of the CL.

We are the best team left in the CL but the experience of winning it before and the belief that brings is invaluable. Like every trophy win it once we will win it again.

To win it the first time we need self belief first, then fair officiating, then good tactics and finally a lot of luck.

I don’t go along with the Pep overthinking theory in the CL. He sets us up to beat the opponent in front of us.It’s not his fault if the players make mistakes or miss empty goals.

If Pep is guilty of one thing maybe it’s that we are a little cautious in the first legs of a knockout stage particularly if it’s the away leg.

Self belief and experience of winning it are paramount which is why Raheem has been dropped. He is a great player but mentally weaker than others. Better to play a less skilful who isn’t as worried by the chance to be great.

Who would you give a penalty to Raz or Balotelli? You almost need a mind set of not caring while retaining maximum concentration and not just ifit goes to pens.

It could happen but it won’t, The Southampton game showed why, Foden denied a stonewall penalty, against a top team we need the refs and VAR to play to the rules

Constant talk of a quadruple is not coming from the club or the fans. Its from the media and fans of other clubs rather pathically trying to set City up for a fall. Its highly unlikely to happen as there are too many variables that can go wrong from injuries, suspensions, loss of form, VAR decisions and of course just plain old bad luck.

Bored of it. Well the “coverage” from the media. You would think that the media would want us to do the “impossible” as it would give the premier league and English football huge exposure, but the narrative is very much being written that if we do not do something that has never been done before in this country then we would be a failure and not a great side. I honestly think that we will not do it, all it takes is one bad / unlucky game in one of the cups and the chance goes. Whatever happens this has been one of the best seasons by any English club ever - we had no pre season, had major issues with covid and the fitness of strikers but have somehow managed to break the consecutive wins record for an English team and be in all 4 competitions in March. Pep I tip my hat at you.
