How many trophies will we win?

Constant talk of a quadruple is not coming from the club or the fans. Its from the media and fans of other clubs rather pathically trying to set City up for a fall. Its highly unlikely to happen as there are too many variables that can go wrong from injuries, suspensions, loss of form, VAR decisions and of course just plain old bad luck.
This.

Yeah I realised that after done the calculations. Its probably due to Fa cup draw and team uncertainty. Also bookies make us favourites v Bayern or Psg for me those ties are a coin toss.

Actually I think I’m wrong. You think it’s less likely than the bookies so they are offering worse odds so you wouldn’t bet on that! Teach me to have a cup of tea before posting!

I seem to recall Chelsea being in the same situation a few years back, only to lose in a semi and a couple of finals or league - might have ended up with nothing after being talked up in the same way.

Won’t happen, need too much luck as well as fantastic football never mind VAR and waffa being against you

Would be be amazing if we pulled it off, but as Pep says we just need to focus on the next game and see what happens. The league is virtually won, in order of priority CL, FA Cup and then Carabou Cup

Im not even going to entertain it until we have won at least the next 10 games.
As long as we win the league, to take it away from those 1 season wonders will be fine. Anything else is a bonus.

.. chances of quadruple.

Statistically the league is pretty much won.

My percentage chances of winning each trophy below.

LC. 70% chance of success
Fa cup will be a lot clearer after today. If we played utd and Chelsea chance of success (55% x 55%) about 30% but I'm going to say we play one weaker team and utd/Chelsea so 85% × 55% so 48% chance of success
CL. Dortmund 80% Bayern/Psg 50% final 55% so 22% chance.

So 70%x48%×22% = 7.4% chance of winning all 4 trophies.

So it's very unlikely IMO. Lots of interesting games to look forward to though and just think a bad season from here and we will 'only' be Champions of England

I reckon 20% of Rags luck in 99 and we piss it ;)

Quick question, do you think if this quadruple quest continues long enough there will ever be a point when non-city fans (not dippers or rags, they don’t count as fans) will root for us?
I posted this on page 1 2 years ago on this thread and the response was a firm no but @twosips youtubes channel yesterday had a really nice Everton fan who was routing for us (see 6:44 on the link below)

Quadruple would be the greatest achievement in history of English football, but would it be the greatest achievement in history of club football also?

Quadruple this season is also slightly more likely as in 2018/19 we had Liverpool to compete for title. Now the title is basically done, which reduces pressure.

Sounds about right to me, this is the reason you get great odds on a 4 way accumulator even if you pick 4 firm favourites. As annoying as it was the unfortunate start to the derby could have (and still might!) in a cup game and the quadruple is finished. This is the reason the dippers won their last two European cups despite not being the best in England never mind Europe.
