How many trophies will we win?

Yes, I am giddy about that too ... if we are able to complete the Quad this season ... we will be going after SEVEN next season! (Actually we will be going for them all if we win the CL and PL (or FA Cup) double).

- Community Shield
- UEFA Super Cup
- FIFA Club World Cup
- Carabao Cup
- FA Cup
- Premier League
- Champions League

Be careful - this is how the dippers season started last this year ‘going for the magnificent 7’

Mods are not allowed to talk shite. Unless it's MES spouting on (and on, and on, and on.....) in the music threads.

Yes but it seems extremely unlikely to win all 4, we just want a simple acknowledgement of the work Pep put in to make a 360 from the start of the season. With talks of all 4, it's like they're setting us up to fail.
“acknowledgement of the work Pep put in to make a 360 from the start of the season”
Surely that means we’d be back where we started. Pep did a 180 and turned our form around!

It's the rags that specialise in 360s, every four times they turn a corner.

Hard to resist the thought about winning everything.

I guess chances are between 7-8% and 12-15%, i.e. about as high as a team like Fulham to win at the Etihad. Not impossble though.

Three serious hurdles in April: Dortmund, Chelsea and Spurs. If we beat them, then our chances will go to say 30 %. Long way to go.

We shouldn't risk the CL in order to win domestic cups. Think Pep will rest at least 5-6 players vs Spurs if we reach the CL semis. And rightly so.

Trophy is far more important than plastic CL semi final, competition which UEFA wont allow us to win also.

Domestic treble has to be the priority absoutely.

I think that’s a mistake to not use Ederson, he adds that extra dimension for attack and distribution which could be key in those matches, I know Pep is loyal, he played Bravo in the cups but Bravo was good with his feet. If we get to the finals, it’s your best team, league is virtually guaranteed, if he must play Stephan in the league when it doesn’t really matter to give him experience, get Ederson in the must win big ones.
I'm undecided, it brings to mind the Wigan final. Pantillimon in goal right through including the Semi v Chelsea then Bob in his wisdom put Joe in for the final. Joe jumps under a cross and the rest is history.
