How many trophies will we win?

One things for sure. If I was playing football manager (on cheat mode of course with unlimited funds) I'd definitely be saving citys season right now.

Won't happen. However if we could only win two I think I know what Blues would want.

I personally want to be Champions of England, over and above that is a bonus.

If I wasn't a Blue I know I'd be wishing for a Spurs win in the Carabao Cup and anyone but City in the FA Cup. We've done the domestic treble and taken the piss with the Carabao Cup - it's time for others to win them I think neutrals wouldn't mind us winning the CL.

Would be nice to win the Carabao, and the competition gets shelved because there's no point anyone trying to compete any more.

I must admit I didn’t know a lot about pep‘s personality before he came here but of all the many things I love about him his competitiveness and his burning desire to win every game are his best character traits imo. We are an elite club now he has changed our mentality it is incredible what he has done. Pellers and especially Mancini where great but pep is the best and is the only manager who could win us the quad

I think Khaldoon also deserves huge credit for the way he has managed Pep. I get the impression from people who work there that the entire club is run brilliantly from top to bottom. The players always go out of their way to praise the non-football staff. Those who claim it is all about money are stupid. I have worked for many badly-run wealthy organisations over the years. Success is never just about money. It's about people.

Statistically the league is pretty much won.

My percentage chances of winning each trophy below.

LC. 70% chance of success
Fa cup will be a lot clearer after today. If we played utd and Chelsea chance of success (55% x 55%) about 30% but I'm going to say we play one weaker team and utd/Chelsea so 85% × 55% so 48% chance of success
CL. Dortmund 80% Bayern/Psg 50% final 55% so 22% chance.

So 70%x48%×22% = 7.4% chance of winning all 4 trophies.

So it's very unlikely IMO. Lots of interesting games to look forward to though and just think a bad season from here and we will 'only' be Champions of England

Remember, we are the best team. If we don’t win the CL that will still be the case. The reason we might not prevail is because experience of lifting the trophy before is very important. The best team wins it only half the time.

Win it once we will win it multiple times. We need that watershed moment like Yaya vs United at Wembley.

Thats why although the PL is, in many ways, harder to win the CL is now more important. At least until we get the first CL trophy.

As to the media. They don’t matter. People will only look back on Pep’s era as great when he has long gone so if you are a blue live it now.

Domestic treble is very likely , the elephant in the room is the Champs league , in one off games there are so many variables , the officials , VAR , missing penalties , missing absolute sitters , you need some luck to win cup competitions and we have had f*ck all of that in the Champs league. When you add to the fact we are the last team UEFA want to see lifting Big Ears then the Champs league will always be a long shot , powers beyond our control are present and imagine a photshoot with Pep parading the holy grail with our dirty , cheating oil owners it will not got down well with Cerferin and his cohorts.

I seem to recall Chelsea being in the same situation a few years back, only to lose in a semi and a couple of finals or league - might have ended up with nothing after being talked up in the same way.

Quadruple this season is also slightly more likely as in 2018/19 we had Liverpool to compete for title. Now the title is basically done, which reduces pressure.

Sounds about right to me, this is the reason you get great odds on a 4 way accumulator even if you pick 4 firm favourites. As annoying as it was the unfortunate start to the derby could have (and still might!) in a cup game and the quadruple is finished. This is the reason the dippers won their last two European cups despite not being the best in England never mind Europe.
