Missouri...back living here again now

The Carolina's and Montana are on my list of places I really want to see.
Montana is an incredible state, especially the western half, it borders Idaho, it's 3 times the size of England with a couple of million people, great great country.
For a really great road trip, route 93 is a spectacular and deserted road that will take you fromCanadia to Mexico through some great country

I'd love to re-visit the states. I'm not interested in all the tourist traps, I'd love to just rent a car, preferably something with a big V8, and just drive across the country.

Route 66? Sounds good but then I imagine driving in a straight line for hours on end. Loses it's appeal.

Driving n a straight line for miles and miles? My dream come true.

Never been to America, would love to go to New York but not the least bit interested in Cal or Florida. Quite fancy the wide open spaces of where idahoblues said route 93 was it?

The straight as an arrow drive from Vegas to the California coast across the Mojave desert is one of the highlights of my life.

Maine, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Nevada, Arizona, California & Washington. I've also been to DC. I don't count Missouri or Pennsylvania as I only transited St Louis and Philadelphia airports.

Arizona, Phoenix and flagstaff (canyon).
Illinois, Chicago.
Nevada, Vegas.
California, San Diego and Newport beach.

Probably enjoyed Vegas the most. I loved just riding about in the car taking in the scenes, brilliant country.

Arizona, Alaska, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, Nevada, Florida, Delaware, Connecticut, Michigan. There may be some I have forgot about!
Love Orange County - Huntington Beach, Newport Beach.
Lived in Phoenix and Scottsdale for 2plus years and loved it.

Come on then!

Let's hire a muscle car and go all Thelma and Louise on their sorry asses.
