Arizona, Alaska, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, Nevada, Florida, Delaware, Connecticut, Michigan. There may be some I have forgot about!
Love Orange County - Huntington Beach, Newport Beach.
Lived in Phoenix and Scottsdale for 2plus years and loved it.

Route 66? Sounds good but then I imagine driving in a straight line for hours on end. Loses it's appeal.

Driving n a straight line for miles and miles? My dream come true.



Never been to America, would love to go to New York but not the least bit interested in Cal or Florida. Quite fancy the wide open spaces of where idahoblues said route 93 was it?

The straight as an arrow drive from Vegas to the California coast across the Mojave desert is one of the highlights of my life.

I did the Vegas to LA drive a few years back and it was absolutely amazing. Then out of nowhere you drop from the heavens into LA when i hadnt even realised we were that high up. Then did the big sur drive up the coast to San Fran and that agaon was brilliant.
