How much do we owe to Yaya?

He earnt something like £10m? whilst at City. Not sure us match paying fans would owe him more. Soz I am bitter towards him as good as he was for us, nay brilliant.
He was the first established big name player to sign for us £200k a week was the going rate to prise a Barca player away from the Nou Camp , and many genuine quality players followed , the off the field stuff is incidental , he had a c*nt for an agent who was trying to flog him every summer for his 10% and that is what has tainted his tenure at the club, he was brilliant on the pitch though.

Blaming footballers agents for a player’s actions is ridiculously naive. Agents work for players, not the other way round.

Joleon Lescott on Peter crouches podcast said it himself, when Yaya played well we won, simple as that and the players knew it. Mancini accused the rest of basically being a one man team when he didn’t play and with that and other things lost the dressing room. Yaya was one of them players that could grab a game by the scruff of its neck and win it with his own ability.

Always felt that Yaya was the only player that Fergie's last United team were scared of. When they came to Eastlands in the run-in and played Park Ji-sung with the sole purpose to try and stop him, not having a shot on target in the process, was a bigger indication to me how quickly the balance of power was turning than the 6-1.

Yaya running through the opposition like a runaway train, their players bouncing off him.
His free kicks. Everyone knew where they were going, but no keeper could stop them (probably not even 2 keepers!).
His penalties.
The F.A.Cup sf goal.
And his love for City.
He never beat anyone up or raped anybody, I know cakegate was a blot on his copybook but a horrible character? Really??
More to thank him for than be angry, much more....

P.S. Yaya, Yaya, Yaya, Yaya, Kolo Toure.....
