He was the first established big name player to sign for us £200k a week was the going rate to prise a Barca player away from the Nou Camp , and many genuine quality players followed , the off the field stuff is incidental , he had a c*nt for an agent who was trying to flog him every summer for his 10% and that is what has tainted his tenure at the club, he was brilliant on the pitch though.He earnt something like £10m? whilst at City. Blaming footballers agents for a player’s actions is ridiculously naive. Always felt that Yaya was the only player that Fergie's last United team were scared of. When they came to Eastlands in the run-in and played Park Ji-sung with the sole purpose to try and stop him, not having a shot on target in the process, was a bigger indication to me how quickly the balance of power was turning than the 6-1.
