How much do we owe to Yaya?

Great on the pitch.. stayed a season maybe two too long and ruined his overall legacy with the shit about Pep and racism , and that dick of an agent Seljuk, made them look a right pair of cry arse millionaire cunts. Fabulous player though.

The most influential player ever to play in a blue shirt since Kinky, but it is a team game.

The inferences towards Pep being a racist will sully his brilliance and rightly so
Kinkladze should not be mentioned in the same breath as Yaya.

One was a legend who helped us win titles, the other a huge talent who was a waster.

The other was a huge talent in a team of wasters…
Kinkladze outside of Manchester, Georgia and to a small extent Amsterdam is an unknown footballer, which is tragic with the talent he had, HE SHOULD be up there with the Messi and Maradona's, he is not, because he was a lazy waster.

Two consecutive relegations in our side and a player that far too often did not turn up.

The perfect mixture of elegance and explosive power. Amazes me every time I watched him, love the bloke.

Top 3 midfielders in Prem history IMO for quality and impact.

From a pure footballing perspective he was just supreme. Technically excellent, strong, quick and a big game player. Those driving runs before lashing a shot in were just immense, or he had the vision to slide someone else in. Delivered us that semi win over the rags, our first trophy since 76 with the goal against Stoke and was a huge part of subsequent success.

It is probably a difficult thing emotionally for us to recognise, but Kinkladze stuffed his career by signing for City. He joined a club in turmoil and on a downward spiral at the time, and became a big fish in a small pool. If he had signed for a top Spanish or Italian club at the point he signed for us, he would have been a world superstar in my view. As for Yaya, fabulous player, but not too bright.

He was a scintilla of light in our very darkest days. He got you off your seat. He gave us a glimmer of hope when we had none. Very different times and very different circumstances. I loved him and still do.

Bell was better
KDB is better
David Silva I would take over him in a heartbeat.

He was better than Phillips.
I do like this comment ,put a smile on my face . Clear and correct.
But we do owe him a lot he was so influential in major games.
