How old are you and what’s the youngest person you would feel comfortable dating?

When I was 41 I was seeing someone 23, major catch at the time for me but I wasn't embarrassed, I didn't think I was cradle snatching. I'm now 60 and a relationship with someone in their 20s would look odd considering I've a daughter in her 30s. I think I could get away with someone in their late 30s, I've aged well and kept myself in good nick so I don't think it would look odd.
The problems that can arise with a big gap in age between partners is when old age happens to one of them.

I'm 53 and 70 is the youngest I'd go for.
(always had a thing for older ladies after doing my work colleague's mum.
I was 18 at the time and she was 42).

I was only joking about the 70 Yr old though..... honest!

And apart from the obvious benefits did the age gap caused issues with regards to conversation?
I should add there were occasions where the conversation brought the age gap into serious relief. Films, music, other cultural references. But we never ran out of things to talk about and had a lot of very deep conversations.

She was much smarter than she realised, which I found very, very attractive.

I bet you'd protest if the 16yo girl was your daughter, and she was seeing some guy in his late 30's.

Would have to cross that bridge if I come to it. Would I want to risk upsetting and possibly ruining my relationship with my daughter if I couldn’t let her see a man she’s legally allowed too…
