One singing end will give the ground a voice that the rest of the ground will take a lead from. As it stands there are thousands of 'singers' basically wasted in the south stand because their songs aren't picked up by the rest of the ground due to their location and the stadium's acoustics.[/quote]
I agree but find that natural atmosphere was- past tense- peculiarly but not exclusively British. Whether it can return without some form of influence I very much doubt, as the stadia are no longer conducive and the support base too stratified to have everyone sing with one voice. Now, where did I put my pom poms and vuvuzela?
