how was you Matchday experience against swansea

Sorry all. Know this should be a new thread but having problems posting a new thread so thought I would attach it on here.

Loads of photographers, journos etc at the new hospital on Princess Park Way where all the players have their medicals.

Think this could be Nasri.

Apologise if wrong, but there seems to be a lot going on.

They are definitely waiting there for someone to arrive.

Cheers.

It was an excellent experience. The drive in from Sharston was quick and easy and there seemed to be a lot of blues making their way to the ground early. The new Etihad flags and posters outside the ground together with the new reception facelift seemed to sparkle in the early evening sunshine. The new lamb rogan josh was nice and the comfy seats / fancy scoreboard graphics were great. All the usual suspects were there around me and we won with a brilliant performance by Augeuro and Silva. Natalie Pike was good, Will Greenwood was funny, Hugh Ferris was still an a*se. The only downside was how quiet the crowd was in the first half... more grumbles and mumbles rather than getting behind the team!

There is a Nasri thread in the transfer forum. Intresting news if true.

The extra food outlet in City square was a great addition as the queue's were a lot smaller as a result. The pre match Live from City Square was quite good, although a bit cheesy the City quiz questions passed the time.

The best change though was the new match announcer! I couldn't stand the guy who used to do it, he was embarrassing! Natalie Pike is a great addition as well.

My lad acutally said it was the best day of his life when we were leaving the ground. He is only 8 though and it was the first time he had been in the south stand and experienced a bit of atmosphere.

Mine was great, the Aguero 2nd goal will teach people not to leave till we have clapped the players off

I've started to watch the highlights at the end of the game. I'm quite pleased that 90% have disappeared by then. Trouble is they're all stuck on Lord North Street. Half an hour it took to get out of the Ibco car park - some bastards usin' the right hand track to turn left and other bastards not lettin' us turn right, blockin' the bloody way, and then a few hundred bastards not lettin' us turn left at the end onto Grimshaw. Just get outta the fuckin' way when I switch on me ignition.

Apart from that minor irritation my 'matchday experience' was all Garry Cook could hope for!

good if you discount the speakers being too loud and lack of an accomplished mixing technician to phase the music /talk etc in a professional manner.
other than that get rid of the majority of the h/t shenanigans, save a few bob and talk to the person sat next to you about the 1st half and whats to come in the 2nd half.seems that unless were being spoonfed shite every waking minute people cant entertain themselves for 10 minutes.

I'd prefer they just played tunes at half-time but understand why they do what they do, largely for the kids (although those around me seemed disinterested in the Ferris & Pike Show).
