HRH Prince Philip - Passed Away

Bear in find that nobody at City gives a toss about you. After all the support, time , money heartache you put in for them you mean as little to them as you do towards the fish you try to catch.
I know that Mike, been going City 50 years now and ive never felt more detached to the club than at present. Many thousands of other long-standing blues feel the same, yourself?

Interesting article here on Philip's views on Europe and the EU. Maybe something for everyone here, politically speaking... https://www.theguardian.com/comment...-he-was-a-european-mongrel-and-happy-that-way
I recently read a book titled "Queen Victoria's Matchmaking." Despite the title it certainly wasn't merely about her machinations to desire to put family members on the various european royal thrones, more her desire to see Prince Albert's dream of a democratic europe bound by family ties. Fascinating stuff, set against the backdrop of revolutionary feeling and assassinations.
The present royal family dodged a bullet when her granddaughter Alix decided to marry the last Tsar instead of George V (who she was linked to at one point); it would have brought hemophilia right back into the current line.
Of course, the family ties came to naught in the build up to WW1, in fact it probably exacerbated it what with the Kaisers paranoia and intense scheming against everything that Edward VII stood for.

Perhaps more so than you especially when l read these threads. I get embarrassed with some of the views as expressed on here seemingly by fellow Blues, ranging from the unnecessary to the highly offensive.
Thank you for being polite as you usually are.

That is what i said , wny are you trying for a row , it is not appropriate
Like so many on here who come on here he is inappropriate because he can, because its the Internet with no regard for your age gender or medical problems. They even have a go at Sheila from Eccles, 80 next month.
They might as well be dippers, might as well be dippers.

Surely the European Super League proposals must make you feel closer?;)
Personally that straw makes me feel like a helium balloon drifting further and further away from earth drifting off somewhere into outer space with feeling that there is worse to come.
