Well you were obviously lucky to have met yours. Mine didn’t even know he had a son as my father was born 3 months after his was killed but hey, it must, in your world, mean I am not allowed to show both sentiment and pride in a man who fought for his country! I apologise for showing emotion.well I did wonder how old you are and whether you were some sentimental 20 odd year old. Not old enough to have met him for sure. Makes me think of my two Granddads who were WW2 soldiers which I am old enough to have met but for me its not sentiment its pride in their service
