Foden and Diaz starting for the EDS, so they will not be in the squad tomorrow :(

Suppose they need a run but not sure how playing at that level is any real preparation for the EPL. Would they be better off out on loan? Both if they are going to make the big time should be able to get a game somewhere at a high level. I suppose all they can do is prey for lots of injuries over the Christmas period. Which I will be praying we avoid.

If they win or even draw with us it will be a freak result, we're far and away the best team in the league.

I have a good feeling but that might be a bad omen. Strange things can happen in a game of football but in all reality we should be too strong. Personally I think we won't drop any points until we face the rags which I think will be a draw which despite what some believe would be an excellent result.

Here's one from the Leicester game. Besides the foul he made in the first 5 minutes or so he didn't put a foot wrong...bear in mind it was his first game back after 2 months. Next?

How anyone can say Kompany is an average passer/defensive liability after those highlights I’ll never know. Plus, if Kompany didn’t take that yellow for the team like Stones and Kolarov should have done last season, we’d be one nil down.

Everybody should be given the same length of slack no matter who they are. It's laughable the way some fans get at The Mangler! He might not be the replication of Franco Baresi or Dave Ewing - yet - but Pep will sprinkle him with some magic dust and before the season ends he will be John Charles, Nesta, Costacurta, Cannavaro, Desailly and Tal Ben Haim rolled into one.
