Huddersfield child sex inquiry

Surely propensity to evade the law should be a consideration? Flight risk is a significant issue.
It certainly is where they can return to their country of family origin and simply disappear, no questions asked. It often happens when serious crimes have happened. The pull back to their roots is a lot more appealing than time as a guest of Her Maj

It takes a truly special mind to be protesting at these events in such a way that even the outraged think "you fucking idiot".

But he managed it.
Speak for yourself.

The problem is very simple.
In the vast majority of rape allegations
1. The identity of the victim is kept secret, by law, unless the victim agrees to disclose. Acting otherwise has led to prosecution.
2. The identity of accused is in the open, even before being convicted, no matter how ridiculous the charges.
Which in fact is unfair, given the possibility of fake cases, but apparently its to persuade other victims to come forward.

Those trying to attack Robinson very cleverly try to conflate the two.
But he or any other protestor (there wee plenty others before / after) did not try to violate rule 1, but were protesting abandonment of rule 2 specifically for this case.

And they have a point given the well established track record of something as wide spread as this being suppressed or glossed over.

It’s an absolutely sickening crime, and a relief that the perpetrators have finally been brought to justice, despite Yaxley-Lennon nearly jeopardising the trial. Hopefully lessons have been learnt so that crimes of this depravity and magnitude won’t go undetected for so long in future.

The only thing that's simple is you and Yaxley-Lennon's other fan-boys. Having (falsely) accused others of trying to conflate two different issues you then go and do exactly the same, wrongly. Even blueonblue has finally given up trying to pursue this utterly fruitless line.

For one thing the identity of the accused WAS out in the open as part of reporting of the committal hearings. From then until the start of the crown court trial anyone could report on them. So that kind of kills a large part of your argument. Secondly, the reporting restrictions were imposed at the start of the crown court trial because the number of defendants meant that there would need to be multiple trials and it's usual for reporting restrictions to be imposed in such cases. The reason is to avoid jurors in later cases being influenced by a reported verdict in an earlier case. Usually that involves a defendant who faces more than one trial on separate charges whereas this was multiple defendants facing the same or similar charges where the trial couldn't be accommodated in a single court. Had the trial been in one sitting then it's highly unlikely that reporting restrictions would have been imposed.

If comprehending these words is too difficult for your over-taxed brain, what with having to cope with breathing and walking upright at the same time, let me know and I'll draw you some pictures.

Well call me old fashioned but I still believe innocent till proved otherwise,it's because of people presuming (like Yaxley Lennon) that justice is sometimes thwarted.

Ah well guilty after all, what a shocker.

Those poor young girls like all the others in previous cases beaten and abused for years and years unchecked by a group of depraved cunts.

That's almost word for word what the politicians and police say after each event. We must learn the lessons. By the way all the perpetrators haven't been caught. A fair few haven't been identified.

Ah well justice has been served by a judge and jury, unlike you who shockingly decides without judicial process.
