We were a bit off and Wagner used Klopp's tactics of closing down Fernandinho.
It's worked 4 times now. Men on our fullbacks, striker drops deep to cut off the pass to the centre halves and keeper. And a screen of midfielders block the passes to our AMs and wingers.
What was particularly impressive was the way the Huddersfield players retreated once Fernandindo got a pass to someone.

Not exactly denied. 2 games left yet, Silva gone back to Spain and am sure he will get the appearance he needs.

On the train to Liverpool en route back home. The game was a bit meh (as the hip young bros and hos down the hood would say), but seeing the trophy presented wasn't a bad compensation! Good to see @Mad Eyed Screamer, @Bill and @oakiecokie as well.

Leeds, played there and they hate them.

A few of them were out in town while we were singing in the pubs and it's propper hate like us with the rags.

His "Champions Hometown" projection was actually in Bradford. But having connections with Bradford and Leeds would be a double whammy for hudds fans

Shouldn’t have come down to this though. Foden and Diaz should have got their medals yesterday and that was not right. Phil looked really hacked off and rightly so. Thank goodness Merlin handed the trophy to them both and made them feel involved. They should have got their medal yesterday and we had ample opportunity to give them the appearances and the medals they deserve. A bit off that one when we should be encouraging our young players.

Perhaps Pep doesn't agree that they've done enough yet to deserve medals? Doesn't want them getting too far ahead of themselves? Keep them hungry?

I think Foden will play in the last two games, but its a bit early in his career for him to get hacked off about not winning a PL medal (which I dont think he was)
