The Monaco game is 2 weeks after this match. No reason not to go full strength.

DOnt we play MOnaco the midweek after the Boro game, if we beat HUdds?

I just can't see us playing anything like a full strength team for that game so why not stick with our "FA Cup team" for the replay, give players like Navas and Nolito much needed game time?

Any information out there what happened to Hudd's manager Wagner's charge by FA from 7 Feb?
Had time to answer til 10 Feb.
Has the case been dropped?
Wonder why nobody asks about it.

Apparently both sides have submitted evidence so it's taking longer than usual. Hopefully the FA will see through Monk's bullsh*t. His comments afterwards about "humility and respect" were the peak of cringe.

Monaco is March 15. 2 weeks after Huddersfield.

Id play

Bravo

Zab Kompany Stones Kolarov

Navas Delph Fernando De Bruyne Nolito

Kelechi

Silva, Fernandinho, Aguero, Toure, Sterling and Sane can sit this one our for me.
2-0 I expect... on to the next round.

We have a weekend off and the squad is in the middle east for warm weather training - good job given the storms here. When they come back they have this game next Wednesday then away at Sunderland 4pm on Sunday (3 full days off in the middle). Then 6 days off until Stoke (or the FA cup again ;) the Saturday after. No need for any resting of players, this should be the best 11 now all the way. Semi's are in sight.

Pep is a tinkerer so he will change things but we don't need to at this point. The fixture list is not that bad at the moment.

Ah thanks.
Surely a manager should be aware of the consequences acting like that in his position in a cracking derby.
Seems like his behaviour did create all the trouble adterwards.
He is talking a lot about respect. Then he should be responsible for his behaviour and show his emotions in his coaching zone, respecting opposite team, managing colleages and fans. Otherwise he would be under suspect of sheer provocation. It's his decision.
Not much hope for him I feel. Well, just a ban. Maybe a fine, too.

Let's get the game won in an hour and then get three subs on

......................Bravo

Zabba - Kompany if fit.(Stones if not) Kolorov - Clichy

................Fernandihno

........Silva..............DeBrune

Navas........Aguero........Nolito

And if we are well in the lead, sub off Kev, Dave and Kun for three youngsters

Who are you talking about here? Wagner or Monk?

This will be another tight affair which we should sneak by a goal or two at home.
To think we'll batter them is sheer fantasy. They'll be roared on by a full South Stand no doubt so we could do with turning out for this one. Ticket sales look a bit disappointing at the moment both Colin Bell & East Stand 3rd tiers not on open sale yet either but still 6 days to go.

Full strength for Huddersfield and hopefully Boro, then we can get back to Wembley again, can see us winning it this year.
It'll be tough, I'd expect Spurs, Arse and the Chavs all to make the semi finals looking at the rest of the quarter final match ups, there could well be a shock that sees either Lincoln or Millwall get through although the rags would be pushing it a bit.

Think Sterling misses Monaco due to bookings so think he will play in FA cup

That was miss information after the other night. He didn't get booked so he can play but he is 1 booking away from missing a game - as are a few others i think.

There is over a weeks break leading up to this and the following game is 4 days after so this should be full strength.

Vinnys got to play so we known one way or an other if hes up for it.
Do we know if he's going to be fit? Would be handy to see him get a couple of 60-90 minute run outs in before the second leg against Monaco, he'd be invaluable dealing with the long balls to Falcao.

Yes, but I can't see the point of playing a full strength side against Huddersfield if we would then play a weakened team in the following round at Boro. And we surely would play a weakened team against Boro because the Monaco game would be regarded by the club as being many, many times more important than the Boro game.

So if Navas, Nolito, Fernando, Delph etc are pencilled in to play at Boro, if we beat Huddersfield, then also play them against Huddersfield.
