Anybody heard of the extent of Merlins injury is it hopefully short term I think Pep has said he intends to use him more sparingly this season pity really as i could watch him 24/7
 
No doubt we can expect the Huddersfield Blockade on Sunday. It’s up to us to find a way to break through. We won’t get too many clear chances as they’ll pack the edge of their box and restrict us to shooting from distance.

Bluwhit (a friend of David's) said on Friday he was 50/50 for last Sunday, and a decision was to be made Saturday, so it can't be that much, and he had been training last week.
 
Huddersfield will struggle this year, Wagner will come to frustrate and park the bus.

Mendy and Walker to provide width and stretch their defence. Ideally, we need an early goal.

Same team as Sunday, but replace Gundogan with Kev and Mahrez with Sane. Possibly a bit harsh on Mahrez but Sane is one of my favourite players thus he gets the vote for me.
 
We'll end up with a back 2 for most of this game I think.
Hence maybe start with a 3 with Stones central and Otamendi or Kompany right and Laporte Left with Mendy and Walker as wing backs.
Likely Ferna pushes on and Stones will fill the space behind. That leaves 5 up top in some sort of formation with Sergio and Jesus the spear point.
I presume Mahrez will start as this is what he's been bought for. I'd go Sane - Silva - Mahrez.
This would mean the bench for Stirling and Bernado as rotation but likely they'll come on as others tire as nobody 100% yet.
It won't be easy but I think we end up winners this time by at least 2. They won't change even if we score - it will be a back 10 all game.
Strangely the commencement of time wasting in the 3rd minute with their keeper taking 40 seconds to kick a dead ball won't be either noticed or picked up by Sky commentators.
 
My god they are leaving it later and later but can finally say im going on Sunday. i got my "tin" this morning it now in the "man draw" but my postie a devout blue. says thanks to this he has made many blue friends, simply by dropping this gift from heaven Infact my Dad is also on his round ,and im told some mornings my mum has to call him away And now its just hit me ffs, its no wonder i dont get my post till after lunch
