They look like a good outfit and will give us a hard game, it's just about if City and Pep want to win the League Cup this season. When building his last team, Pep won 4 league cups in a row so maybe we will have the big guns on the bench, I would like to see us having a good run in the League cup and try and win it to get that winning silverware habit back

We might rest Haaland for this one and maybe give Bobb a more central role, a lot depends on fitness. We should be careful not to lose as the Carabao Cup gives fringe players and academy players a chance to shine. I think Pep will mix experience with youth for this one.

Yes I've always had a soft spot for the league cup and it's a quick chance to win some silverware.

Agree. I think the league cup will be important for us this season as tool for keeping the fringe players sharp. Also, if we can win it, it brings back the winning feeling and mentality.

Can afford to rest a few of our key players but cannot overly do so. Perhaps put Haaland on the bench with Marmoush being out. Either Trafford or Ortega would be good enough cover along with rotating the defence. Midfield is a tricky one with Gundo sold and Kovacic still recovering.

I think it's not that easy to win for City with the Champions League being a league system now, chopping and changing in squad rotation can sometimes unsettle a good run of unbeaten games for players. Most players like to play every game to keep their fitness levels up and match fitness.

Pep this season has got more players to work with and should have enough to get the result against Huddersfield
I think we have about 5 or 6 first-team players we can use and a choice of keepers, then some of the EDS players with the bench full of quality,

Pep will want to win the game without having to use the key players, but I think we will have to fight very hard to win the game and maybe have to use the bench.

It certainly won't be easy and we usually struggle when we make wholesale changes, but given our injuries and schedule we probably have little choice.
