Huddersfield v City post match

Not sure why but that performance today has really pissed me off. dunno if its to do with what I was expecting. I've not felt like this after a game for ages. the atmosphere in our end was shit, the team was shit, everything was shit. was decent before the game in the 2 pubs in Huddersfield though, that wasn't shit

Jesus... what would you have been like if Hudd had sneaked an injury time winner?

Second string players not good enough but that's nothing new.
I don't like to judge fringe players (or indeed youth players like at Chelsea last season) when they're all thrown into a makeshift team like that. Their role is to be able to come into a functioning first team when a first choice player isn't available and do a job. But they are second string for a reason so when you put quite a few of them together, it's not surprising that they don't perform particularly well.

Just seen the Aguero chance again (the one in the first half when the keeper was in no-mans land, and Aguero put too much on the ball)

At the time, I thought it was all a bit rushed, but now I've seen it on TV, he should have scored.

Not surprising at all. It is never going to be free flowing. Too many changes always leads to this type of performance and it's clear that we don't prioritise this competition. Getting through could always change the mindset but whilst we are still involved in CL then this is how it will be going forward I think.

It seems like stating the obvious, but your post is obviously correct ;-)

2 things we learned if we didn't already know . Our back ups are nowhere near good enough and pep has no faith in our young players. The latter is really puzzling, particularly when you see the likes of Delph and navas getting game time.

He sees them every day though. Maybe they just aren't good enough. I've been disappointed with Kelechi's progress this season to be honest.
